As our industry continues to grow, so do we. We are now looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to join our talented Sales Team.

 

Who are we looking for?

The Commercial Sales Manager plays an important role in Cadeler’s global sales efforts and is pivotal to the development of people and skills within the commercial space. We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and expertise:  

  • Experience and proven sales/BD track record from a competitive environment in the offshore wind or oil and gas sectors. Strong levels of project / engineering experience may compensate.
  • Developed networking skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships with our partners
  • The ability to take the lead and motivate team members to achieve our set objectives 
  • A relevant academic degree. A supplementary maritime, engineering or business qualification would be an advantage.
  • A passion for developing and promoting technical products that enable our clients’ sustainable energy solutions
  • A mix of strategic, sales and interpersonal skills, who thrives in an international and diverse workplace where empowerment, collaboration and dedication are at the centre of our culture.
  • A quick learner who understands how to juggle a broad array of disciplines

 

What will you do?

As our new Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for providing input and executing on the commercial sales strategy, while expanding on and nourishing strong relationships with our partners and clients. You will be an integral part of the sales team and in striking the right balance between risk and reward in the sales pipeline. Your tasks will consist of, but not limited to:

  • Being responsible for all commercial aspects of the sales cycle, from the initial lead generation up until handover of the finalised contract.
  • Management of a dedicated sales team
  • Participate in negotiations with Cadeler’s global portfolio of clients and interaction with subcontractors, including selection, follow-up, and negotiation.
  • Manage and facilitate legal review and propose judgment on an acceptable commercial risk-reward balance and Cadeler’s negotiation position.
  • Being responsible for the development of internal pricing and risk calculations. 
  • Maintaining and nurturing Cadeler’s existing portfolio of global partners, clients, and suppliers, as well as developing new client relationships across the entire value chain within renewable offshore wind.
