Cadeler is the global partner in offshore wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we. We are now looking for a Contract Manager to join our talented Commercial Team.

Who are we looking for, and what will you do?

As our new Contract Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing all contract management activities, from pre-award, post-award through execution and close-out. You will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating client contracts in close collaboration with the sales team. You will align with legal, insurance and tax on all aspects of a tender prior to submission or during negotiations, and you will make sure to protect our Cadeler’s interest by managing rights and mitigating risks. Our new Contract Manager should have a sharp eye for contract content in the wider organization, as well as the ability to keep a record of all signed Non-Disclosure Agreements.

We are looking for a person, who will be responsible for the contractual negotiations and documents, including supportive documentation. A person who will manage contract processes and administration, and who will continue to be updated on the movements in the market concerning contractual models and trends.

We are happy to see many of the following skills and achievements:

  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Accurate and solution-oriented team player with excellent organization and time management skills
  • A proven academic level of achievement, preferably a Law degree
  • At least five years’ industry experience preferred
  • Experience with Supply Time and FIDIC type contracts
  • Strong understanding of contractual principles and legal terms and conditions, including knock for knock
  • Experience in formulating multiple compensation structures, including, but not limited to, day rate, reimbursable costs and lump sum
  • Experience in claims evaluation and negotiation
  • Knowledge of contract management software
