We are now looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our ambitious Foundation Transportation & Installation Sales team.

What we can offer

As Cadeler enters a new business area within Foundation Transport & Installation, it is vital to have the necessary technical support in the sales process. We are therefore looking for a Technical Sales Manager to work with the Foundations T&I Sales team to deliver excellence in the face of challenges.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible and accountable for the technical feasibility of Foundation T&I tender packages
  • Support in the preparation of the tender strategy
  • Review ITT documentation, raise technical clarifications/qualifications/deviations as needed
  • Identify key technical optimizations to provide the most cost-effective tender
  • Responsible for preparing the overall Foundation T&I tender program and package according to the tender plan  
  • Structure technical scope and workflow process for tender preparation, together with other internal functions and external subcontractors/consultants
  • Responsible for obtaining all required technical information for proposals from all stakeholders
  • Ensure smooth interfaces between the other departments to identify tender risks, feeding into the Risk Assessment process
  • Responsible for preparing technical scope for subcontractor/suppliers RFPs and for technically reviewing subcontractor proposals
  • Support presenting and defending the proposed technical package
  • Focal point for Client and Subcontractors/suppliers technical clarifications
  • Negotiate technical annexes part of the contract with the Client and subcontractors/suppliers

We are looking for a strong technical profile with an eye for the commercial. Someone who can manage many stakeholders and collaborate well both internally and externally.

We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies:

  • BSc or MSc degree in engineering
  • 5+ years’ industry experience in a project, technical or commercial department
  • Experience in a technical-related role in the offshore wind or oil and gas sector
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You are structured and well organised with financial and strategic business understanding
  • Strong time management skills and a resilient and analytical mindset
  • Competent in standard Microsoft IT Packages, SharePoint, Teams
