We are now looking for a Senior Project Engineer for Port & Marshalling to help in the development and management of the logistic base for monopile T&I installations.

What will you do?

As our new Senior Project Engineer for Port & Marshalling, you will lead and manage technical solutions for marshalling the foundations to a base port and ensure suitability of such port for the operations. This also requires build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and ensuring the safety and efficiency of onshore and offshore construction operations during projects.

Your main tasks include:

  • Develop and implement Port & Marshalling innovative technical solutions efficient for heavy foundations - from design and engineering specification to execution.
  • Implement technical solutions for the onshore port operations for optimized storage, retrieval, and load-out of monopiles.
  • Support the project planning and on-site execution for sailing and port storage activities for heavy monopiles, including accurate project and quality records.
  • Provide technical guidance and interface to subcontractors and internal teams, resolving technical challenges.
  • Ensure that all construction plans and equipment comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction operations and equipment follow to the highest standards and meets project requirements.
  • Support equipment implementation offshore and build bridge between vessel crew and office.
  • Monitor equipment delivery, performance, and deviations from project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, optimizations, cost savings, and innovation in lifting equipment design and development.

We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies:

  • Min. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in port operations for offshore construction projects, including development and technical management of onshore equipment and methods for heavy structure (jacket, monopiles, heavy equipment, etc.).
  • Proven experience in marshalling operations for heavy structures, including involvements in Roll-on/Roll-off operations and grillage designs.
  • Strong technical knowledge in offshore construction operations, including experience in offshore execution and vessels mobilizations.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., LOLER, EN 13001, DNV-ST-N001, DNVGL-ST-0378, etc.).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
