Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are now looking for a Project Engineer for Mission Equipment to help in the development and management of construction equipment for foundations installations.

What will you do?

As our new Project Engineer for Mission Equipment, you will lead and manage equipment development projects for the upcoming new buildings, build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of offshore construction operations during foundation projects.

Your main tasks include:

  • Oversee equipment projects - from design and engineering to manufacturing and testing - ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop foundation constructions methods and execution by developing sound technical solutions for our new buildings.
  • Provide technical guidance and interface to subcontractors and internal teams, resolving technical challenges.
  • Ensure that all construction plans and equipment comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction equipment is manufactured to the highest standards and meets project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including specifications, design documents, test results, and certifications.
  • Support equipment implementation offshore and build bridge between vessel crew and office.
  • Monitor equipment delivery, performance, and deviations from project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, optimizations, cost savings, and innovation in lifting equipment design and development.

We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies:

  • Min. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in offshore construction projects, including development and technical management of mission equipment for monopile construction (pile gripper, grillage, tools, etc.).
  • Strong technical knowledge in offshore construction operations, including experience in offshore execution and vessels mobilizations.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., LOLER, EN 13001, DNV-ST-N001, DNVGL-ST-0378, etc.).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
