We are now looking for a (ESG) Financial Controller to help conduct the consolidation and reporting of ESG data.

 

What will you do?

As our new (ESG) Financial Controller you will play an active role in making the future greener. You will do external reporting of sustainability key figures in compliance with CSRD. Furthermore, you will collaborate with stakeholders on all levels and support them with processes, compliance and technical assistance in terms of CSRD and other ESG-related matters.

Your main tasks include:

  • Driving the EU taxonomy reporting
  • Facilitating the audit process and assurance of ESG reporting
  • Ensure Company complies with its reporting obligations related to existing green finance instruments
  • Reporting of ESG data to organizations providing sustainability ratings, including CDP, S&P, Sustainalytics, UN Global Compact, etc.
  • Support Company compliance with its obligations under the EU ETS and prospective UK ETS, including timely procurement and submission of ETS allocations to the relevant authorities.  
  • Support financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Other ad hoc tasks within a group finance function.

We are looking for a well-organized profile, who possesses strong interpersonal skills.

We think you will be a good match if you have:

  • Degree in Accounting, or similar areas like Auditing, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Strong MS Excel skills as an analysis tool.
  • Broad experience and knowledge of accounting systems for mid- to large-sized companies
  • Experience on the following systems is not a requirement but a great advantage: Oracle, Sertica, Power BI.
  • Big 4 accounting firm background or from a listed company is not a requirement but a great advantage.
  • ESG experience is not required but a great advantage.
  • Speak and write English fluently (Danish is an advantage but not a requirement).
