We are looking for an Experienced Technical Superintendent to be the Electrical lead on our newbuilt project and support our state-of-the-art Windfarm Installation vessels in Cadeler A/S (formerly Swire Blue Ocean A/S).

As the wind industry is rapidly growing and the complexity of projects increasing, Cadeler is facing an exciting phase of development with a strategy to take on more complex scopes within the development of offshore wind farms. To support the continuous growth in demand for our services and to strengthen our Marine Operation Team, we are looking for a skilled and Experienced Technical Superintendent, with a passion for working with renewable energy.

 

The job

As Cadeler is in an expanding phase, we are looking for an Experienced Technical Superintendent to help grow the business. This new position offers a great opportunity for an ambitious candidate interested in pursuing a career in an exciting growing company in the offshore wind industry.

In this role, you will assist the management of the new projects, the implementation and readiness as well as repairs & technical support to vessel staff and ensure that the Technical standards of operations and maintenance are adhered to. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to ensure:

  • Electrical lead on the newbuilt project
  • Electrical support to vessels and interface to project-related equipment
  • Assist with the daily operation of our current O-class vessels
  • Systems are maintained & installed correctly and reliable
  • Vessel new systems & modifications confer with rules
  • Works are carried out to the required standard and documentation is complete
  • Assist and coordinate electrical works with vessel staff

The position is based in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark and will require some traveling to other locations, if necessary, for carrying out duties associated with the position.

 

Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will be structured and disciplined, with an innovative approach towards technical and project execution.

As a candidate, we expect you to have most of the following qualifications:

  • Marine Engineer or Electrical engineer  
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Marine Electrical installation & repairs
  • Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations and scheduling of work
  • A natural capability for bridging issues between departments, the ability to prioritize by importance and a problem-solving can-do attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with contractors/subcontractors on electrical work
  • Communicate and negotiate commercial and technical matters effectively to audiences at all levels
  • English fluency, both written and spoken
